ABOUT ABBY |
I have always marched to the beat of my own drum.
With six decades behind me I have compiled a lifetime of outrageous experiences as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, traveler, designer, curator and photographer. Originally a native New Yorker, I gave up the frenetic, cosmopolitan pace for the solitude and splendor of Vermont. The shift to rural life was an adjustment, to say the least, but now, with the company of my husband, Robert, the Green Mountains have become our home. Adventure and hardcore solo travel has refined me. Traveling to some of the most remote places in the world, I have experienced the feeling of detachment and exhilaration, all while unveiling my resilience in “out-of-the-box” situations. However, travel is not a prerequisite for my photography. Vermont is fertile ground for an artist. From sunrise to sunset, to the grandeur of the evening sky, wonders abound. A day infused with photography, nature and a healthy dose of curiosity, is a good day. |
