Through The Looking Glass
Alice had her looking glass, I have my camera.
Just as Alice wanted to escape her reality, at times, so do I. In pursuit of solace I propel myself into natures magical kingdom filled with phantasmagorical colors and shapes. I am at home in this intimate realm. It is in this world I find an endless cycle of regeneration and sheer delight.
To reveal the mystery and complexity of our natural world is what drives me. One part contemplation, one part celebration. These images expose the overlooked and honor the exquisite beauty in plain sight. It is the limitless wonder of nature that energizes me, filling me with gratitude for the world in which we live.
“I'm not strange, weird, off, nor crazy, my reality is just different from yours.” ― Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
